YGA company profile operation services

All of our guides are fully licensed with the U.S. National Park Service and the U.S. Forest Service. We also carry full insurance. Our guides are trained in wildlife biology, history, geology, botany, and other topics regarding the natural history of region you will visit to provide you with the best experience possible. We look forward to putting our more than 100 years of field experience to work for you.

In addition, we are pleased to organize for you complete packages including cross-country ski adventures, grizzly bear and wolf watching, animal tracking, or other activities unique to Yellowstone. Every trip is custom-designed to take advantage of special natural events throughout the year, such as observing wolves, watching trout spawning, listening to the sounds of an elk bugle, and hiking through fields of wildflowers.

For our other trips around the world including Alaska, Hawaii, Japan, India, and Africa experienced, expert level guides will be with you. For some trips self-guided options are available.

YGA provides private English and Japanese speaking National Park Service licensed expert guides for individuals, families, or groups. Also, YGA offers programs for schools, museums, or other education-based groups. Our educational programs include custom designed learning activities such as bear den explorations, hot spring discovery, predator/ prey study, and much more.
We have further expanded our outreach programs to museums in Japan consulting with YGA staff to design and produce educational programming and working with “Super Science” high schools, sponsored by the Japanese Ministry of Education, together with other universities and schools.

On our guided trips, we supply high quality binoculars, spotting scopes, bilingual field guides, infrared thermometers (for measuring temperatures of hot springs, wildlife, etc.), and other field tools so that you may view the wildlife and fully enjoy the amazing beauty of the Rocky Mountains.
