Yellowstone YearRound receives 2013 United States Excellence Award


May 6th 2014 - Yellowstone YearRound has been selected for the 2013 United States Excellence Award amongst all its peers and competitors by the US Trade & Commerce Institute (USTCI).


Each year the USTCI conducts business surveys and industry research to identify companies that have achieved demonstrable success in their local business environment and industry category. They are recognized as having enhanced the commitment and contribution of small businesses through service to their customers and community. Small businesses of this caliber enhance the consumer driven stature that United States is renowned for.


Yellowstone YearRound has consistently demonstrated a high regard for upholding business ethics and company values. This recognition by USTCI marks a significant achievement as an emerging leader within various competitors and is setting benchmarks that the industry should follow.

２０１４年３月２９日、ＮＨＫＢＳプレミアムにて、弊社がコーディネートしたＮＨＫの番組『体感！グレートネイチャー「極寒！イエローストーン アメリカ 熱水の大地」』が放映されました。５月１１日はその短縮版が再びＢＳプレミアムにて放映されます。見逃した方は今後の再放送にこうご期待！冬の厳しくも美し情景が目に焼き付いて離れない１時間半！
弊社ーオーナーのスティーブがフル出演で、イエローストーンをご案内しています。今後はＮＨＫ総合でもきっと再放送があることと思われます。

７月、東京の高校生約４０名がイエローストーン理科研修に訪れました。
今年はオオカミ研究及び野生動物の足跡研究の第一人者、樹齢２０００年の年輪から、イエローストン北部地域の気候の歴史を紐解く研究をされている先生などを招き、イエローストン国立公園を舞台に実に多様な生態系を学びました。最初地面の上に腰を下ろすのもはばかる大都会の高校生も、大自然での授業を毎日受ける間に、次第に何か大きなものを受け止め、何かを感じて日本へ戻っていったのではないでしょうか。

ユナイテッド航空は６月９日から９月１日の夏の一定期間、ニューヨーク（EWR）、イエローストーン　ボーズマン（BZN）直行便運航を正式に発表しました。フライトスケジュールは毎週土曜日、午前８時２５分にニューヨーク（EWR）を出発し、イエローストーン　ボーズマン(BZN)には午前１１時７分到着予定です。帰り便はイエローストーン　ボーズマン(BZN)午後１２発、ニューヨーク（EWR）午後６時着予定です。
１２０席のエアバスA319 の運航は、イエローストーンを訪れる多くの人々の便利な足となることでしょう。ぜひ、東部にお住まいの皆様、東部を観光したあとのイエローストーン観光をお考えの方、この便利なフライト便を利用されてはいかがでしょうか？

ボーズマンのダウンタウンを訪れる機会をお持ちの方に一報です。小さなお店ではありますが、ボーズマンのダウンタウンにとってもおいしいチョコレート屋さん「La Chatelaine Chocolat Co.」があります。トリュフなどのあまいおかしが大好きな人はもう、どれを買ったらよいか迷いに迷うほどのかわいらしさと美しさ。このチョコレートがなんと、２０１２年度、全米で一番おいしいチョコレートとして表彰されたのです。
　また、ボーズマンの「BEQUET CARAMEL」というキャラメル屋さんはいままでに５回もの表彰をうけて、全米で一番有名なキャラメル屋さん。口の中でとろけるようなこのキャラメル、塩キャラメルにザクロキャラメル、チョコレートキャラメルなど、味だけでもどれにしたらよいか迷ってしまいます。
